Dr. Mahasin Abdullah

JSA Consulting Services was founded in 2021 by Dr. Mahasin Abdullah.

Dr. Mahasin Abdullah is a Transformative Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Champion & Strategist of professional and educational experience in varying industries. She is the CEO of JSA Consulting Services, a consulting firm that specializes in leadership, change management, and helping companies grow in diversity and authentic inclusion in the workplace.

Dr. Abdullah began her journey not only through her own experiences but also witnesses lack of proper leadership and change management in the workplace. Dr. Abdullah also experienced and witness racism, bias, lack of inclusion, and more. What started as a learning experience has now expanded into a customizable, interactive training program, and unique framework driven lens for clientele. 

Dr. Abdullah works with a variety of clientele with a special focus on education and African American Women in the workplace. Dr. Abdullah aims to address longstanding disparities associated with DEI including the mental health of African American Women in the workplace and youth of color in the educational system. This specialization fosters trust that is crucial to overcome systemic racism that still exist today. Furthermore, empowering like minded individuals and leaders to help promote DEI. 


Dr. Abdullah uses her experience and educational training via her Doctorate in Management with a focus on Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, her MBA, Bachelor’s in Organizational Management, Executive Leadership Coaching Certificate, and certificate as a DE&I Coach which has helped her to create a frameworks for organizations to use for DE&I and consultation.


Dr. Abdullah worked on a voice-over for a kids safety cartoon in 2011.  The cartoon, named Station Safewater, aims to teach young children how to stay safe on the beach, in the water, and on a boat.  Dr. Abdullah is voicing the part of Petty Officer 2nd Class Haley, who teaches the kids how important it is to not play on marine radios and make false distress calls.  Coast Guard photo by Petty Officer 1st Class Adam Eggers.
